Maggie Funk

Maggie Funk, age 61, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Maggie was an extraordinary soul from the first time you would meet her it would leave a lasting impression for the rest of your life. She was a loving and amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, cousin, friend, and grandmother. Our world was blessed to have a selfless woman’s love like Maggie’s. She is survived by her dearest mother; Ana Maria Chairez; her loving husband; Gregg Allen Funk; her wonderful children; Esmeralda Gonzalez (Martin) and Gregg Funk II (Crystal); her brothers; Adam Chairez and David Gonzalez; and her beautiful granddaughter; Madison Celeste Gonzalez. She is also survived by many extended family, such as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Prayer Service to follow at 6:30 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 9:30 am Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
