Manny" Manuel Morales

Manuel “Manny” Morales, 17 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Although our hearts are sad, we find peace in knowing he is in Heaven. We will miss him dearly. Manny is preceded in death by his twin brother, Antonio; Paternal Grandfather, Ruben Morales; Great Grandmothers, Natalia Velarde and Guadalupe R. Perez. He is survived by his parents, Esteban and Michelle; sister, Danielle and brother Steve Jr. He is also survived by his Mima, Maria Teresa Ybarra; his Grandpa and Nana, Manny and Mony Velarde; his Tio Ruben, Tia Patsy Morales and Cousins, Erika and Ruben; Tio Raul and Tia Isela Santillan, cousins Samantha, Amanda and JJ; Tio Mikey, cousin Miguel Jr; Tia Sandra Velarde, cousins Allison, Sarah, Catie and Patrick: Tio Baldo and Auntie Becky Martinez; cousins Natalie, Genny, Ozzy and Eli; cousin Penelope Vega. Manny was blessed to have a very special person in his life Saida Santillan, Family Ricardo Santillan, Avelyn, and Ricardo Jr. He was very blessed to be a member of the Monte de los Olivos Church in Ft. Hancock with Pastor Moses Morales and Mode Morales and all his brothers and sisters in Christ. A Special thank you to Adriana, Jazmine, Ashley, Jaime and Devin. An additional special thanks to some very important people in Manny’s life: Dr. Ruben Roncallo and all his medical Staff, Dr. Rodolfo Fierro-Stevens and all his medical staff, Maureen Muñoz, Karina Valadez-Martinez, Martha Gomez and Linda Ontiveros. Pallbearers to serve are Steve Morales Jr, Stephen Ray Salcido, Raul Santillan, Miguel Morales, Ruben Morales III, and Logan Yarber. Honorary pallbearers are Manuel Velarde, J.J. Santillan and Jaime Luna. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas located at 9521 North Loop Dr. A Funeral Service will be said at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
