He was retired from El paso Texas Water utilities. He left behind by his children Debra R. Marquez, David R. Lara, Michael A. Lara, Rebecca J. Lopez. † Manuel Lara III, † Elizabeth L. Ferro, † Virginia A. Lara, Irma Y. Gomez, Emma V. Anleu and † Manuel R. Lara. Siblings Maria L. Del Rio, Margarita L Apodoca, Isabel C. Olivas, Herlinda L Murillo, Daniel Lara Sr. † Socorro L. Perez and † Torino Lara. Also, 27 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He leaves behind separated (wife) Carmen M. Lara and companion Emma Elvira. He will be missed and is truly loved. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina.
