Manuel Najera

Manuel “Manny” Najera Sr., 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in El Paso, TX surrounded by family. Manny was born on July 10, 1952 in San Pedro del Gallo, Durango, Mexico. Manny retired from Rust/FMH in 2013 after 45 years of service. He enjoyed playing pool, traveling and watching his favorite football team, the RAIDERS. He leaves many great memories and good friends. Manny is survived by longtime partner Virginia Morales; son, Juan Carlos Najera, Sr. and his wife Chelsi Najera; two grandsons, Juan Carlos Najera, Jr. and Manuel Marcos Najera; three siblings, Soledad Reyes, Felipe Najera and Valentin Najera. Manny also left many other close uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Manny is preceded in death by his parent Macaria Najera-Flores and son Manuel Najera Jr. Que En Paz Descanse. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 11:30am at Evergreen Cemetery East.
