Manuel Rodriguez

Manuel “Manny” Rodriguez, 86, passed away on September 23, 2026.

Manny was born in El Paso, Texas on December 30, 1939. Raised in the Segundo Barrio by a single mother, Manny was a proud graduate of Bowie High School.

Manny spent over 50 years working in the linen services industry. He started out washing trucks and worked his way up to being a salesman. He was consistently one of the top salesmen in El Paso and even awarded top salesman in the nation on several occasions.

Manny is preceded in death by his wife: Bertha “Betty” Rodriguez, mother: Raquel Rodriguez and brothers: Ramon Rodriguez and Ruben Rodriguez. He leaves behind four children: Elizabeth Elizondo, Mary Alice Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Jr. and Jovana Rodriguez Levi (James Levi) and three step- children: Guadalupe “Lupe” Romero, Abenicio David Romero (Connie Romero) and Arnold Hector Romero. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home - East

Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday October 1, 2026 at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Dr., El Paso, Texas 79905
