Our beautiful mother Manuela Alvarado Amaya, age 88, was called home to our Lord on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born on January 1, 1930 to Sostenes and Theodora Alvarado in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raul J. Amaya, Sisters: Placida Gonzales, Petra Guitan, Zeferina Alvarado, Brother: Julian Alvarado, Sons-in- law: Mario P. Garcia & Antonio Avila.
Survived by Sister: Ramona Alvarado Garcia, Children: Maria Lorena Ornelas (Tomas), Martha Cruz Resendiz (Jesus), Guadalupe Garcia (Mario), Jesus Raul Amaya (Esther), Raul Amaya Jr. (Estela), Margarita A. Avila (Antonio), Rosie A. Castorena (Bill), Manuel Amaya (Monica Palacio), 22 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Her Legacy will live on for generations to come.
Rest In Peace momma we are all going to be fine, we will miss you dearly but we know we will see you again someday. We love you forever and a day!

Visitation 4:00 to 9:00 pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm, Monday, January 22, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Catholic Church, 1700 Geroge Dieter. Internment: will follow at 1:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
