Manuela "Banana" Cortez

Manuela “Banana” Cortez, age 73, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Manuela is preceded in death by her parents; Uriel Cortez and Catalina Martinez; and her sisters; Blanca Ceniceros, Enriqueta Juarez and Rosa Lopez. She is survived by her dearest sons; Jose Alfredo Cortez, Luis Cortez and Eduardo Cortez; her siblings; Uriel Cortez Jr., Saul Cortez, Lorena Hernandez, Yolanda Vasquez, Agustina Trejo, Lidia De La Rosa and Elisa Madrid; and her 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
