Manuela "Maria" Gonzalez Cruz

Manuela "Maria" Gonzalez Cruz, 94, entered into eternal rest on July 07, 2024 in El Paso, TX. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel H. Cruz; parents, Pedro and Josefa Gonzalez. She's also preceded in death by her two brothers, three sisters; daughter, Gabriela Cruz, grandson, Samuel G. Salazar and granddaughter, Petrita Melendez. 

Manuela is survived by her loving daughters, Maria Ofelia Salazar (Edward G. Salazar), Eileen R. Cruz Escamilla (Robert Escamilla); her sister, Lucinda Barron; and her three grandchildren, Robert Escamilla Jr. (Gabriel De Los Santos), Bill Paul Cruz (Toni Alyzah Ruiz), and Melodie Escamilla. Manuela was very loved and will always be missed.

 A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 11:00 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
