Manuela V. Ortega

Manuela V. Ortega, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and will be dearly missed. Manuela is preceded in death by her parents: Juan Valenzuela and Maria De Jesus Reyes, her husband: Jose Ortega, and her son: Raul Ortega. She is survived by her children: Rosa Maria Ortega Thorpe, Elsa O. Tovar, Jose Ortega Jr., and Luis Ortega, her sister: Maria Alvarez, her granddaughter: Guillermina G. Davis, her great-grandchildren: Kyleigh D. Davis, Koi J. Davis, and Korbin J. Davis, as well as her Grandson-in-Law: Kodi D. Davis. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

Her Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West with a Rosary to commence at 6:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N Mesa St. Graveside Service will follow at 11:00am at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave.
