Margarita Gomez, 80, passed away August 9, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents; Maximo Portillo and Luz De La O, son; Manuel Jesus Gomez, sister; Mercedes and Ramona. Margarita is survived by her husband; Abraham Gomez, Sr., sons; Gerado Gomez, Abraham Gomez, Jr., Javier Gomez, Fernando Gomez, Oscar Gomez, daughter; Corina Gomez, 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother; Tito De La O, sisters; Carmen, Genoveva and Manuela. She will be greatly missed. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2016 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 10041 Socorro Rd.
