Marguerite Caruthers

Marguerite Caruthers passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 65. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, educator, friend, actress and animal lover who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Jud, her dog Izzy and grandcat Pandora. She is survived by her children Katherine Lileck-Moreno, Brendan Caruthers, Quinn Judson Caruthers, Tessa Caruthers, her sister Mary Louise Gibson and family, her grandchildren Bijou and Zahir Encinas, her partner David Yenshaw and her beloved pets Jack, Kiley, Kitty and Hyde. The Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 400 W. Sunset Rd. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local animal shelter, LGBTQ+ rights advocates or attend and support your local theatre. If you insist on flowers, potted only.
