Maria Adelina Montes

Maria Adelina Montes, 93, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 13, 2024. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Maria is preceded in death by her parents; Jesus Garcia and Fernanda Mendez; her daughter Guadalupe Cabrera. She is survived by her beloved children; Fernando Montes (Nora), Salvador Montes, Arturo Montes (Gloria), Adelina Sifuentes (Manuel), Alberto Montes, (Maribel); her siblings; Hortencia Andrade, Maria Lorenza Anguiano, and Francisco Farias Jr.; her 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Rosary to commence at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, May 22, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church followed by a Graveside Service at 1:30 pm at Evergreen East Cemetery.
