Maria C. Alvarez

Maria C. Alvarez, age 51, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 15, 2024. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and will be greatly missed. Maria is preceded in death by her parents: Alfonso Alvarez and Alicia Aguirre. She is survived by her sons: Anthony Rene Ballesteros and Michael Alonzo Ballesteros, as well as her sister: Alicia Gonzalez Alvarez. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

 Pallbearers include: Michael Ballesteros, Anthony Ballesteros, Alonzo Ballesteros, Christopher Carzoli, Gabriel Carzoli, Rene Ballesteros, Mike Carzoli, and Efrain Gonzalez Jr. 

A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, July 22, 2024 with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama Street followed by a Graveside Service at 1:30 pm at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave.
