Maria Elena Lombraña

Maria Elena Lombraña entered into the hands of Our Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 89.

Maria Elena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who devoted her life to raising and caring for her children and family. Her love, kindness, and devotion to those she held dear will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lina and Jose Aguirre; her beloved husband, Vicente Lombraña; her loving sister, Marina Aguirre; and her beloved grandson, Roberto Nieto Jr.

She is survived by her loving children: Vicente Lombraña Jr. (Elena), Yolanda Nieto (Roberto), David Lombraña, Hilda Sotelo (Oscar), Monica Jaime (Javier), and Troy Lombraña (Emily).

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Vicente Francisco Lombraña, Naomi Estrada (Chris), Victor Lombraña (Alicia), Aaron Lombraña (Taylor), Elena Lombraña, Lina Cardenas (Jose), Oscar Sotelo III (Priscilla), Tony Acuna (Taylor), and Brendan Lombraña; as well as her great-grandchildren: Leila Estrada, Emma Estrada, Nicolás Lombraña, Leonardo Lombraña, Anneliese Cardenas, Ziggy Acuna, and Luna Styler McGee.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-West.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 12:45 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd.

Pallbearers will be: Vicente Francisco Lombraña, Victor Lombraña, Aaron Lombraña, Oscar Sotelo III, Tony Acuna, Brendan Lombraña, Jose Cardenas and Javier Christian Jaime.

Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, where Maria Elena will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
