Maria G. Guerrero

Maria Garcia Guerrero peacefully passed away on October 21, 2013 at the age of 85. Born in Cuadrilla, Tejas, she spent the last few decades in Socorro, surrounded by her loving family and friends. It brings great peace to her family to know that welcoming her to heaven is her late husband Jesus Guerrero, son Jorge Guerrero, mother Ramona Garcia and brother Pepe Garcia. She is survived by sons and daughters, Guadalupe De la O, Jesusita Valles, Armando Guerrero, Alberto Guerrero, and Elvia Ramirez; including 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Maria’s strength and teachings will forever continue in the Guerrero family as her sons and daughters carry her memory, proudly being known as the “son/daughter of Maria Guerrero.” May you rest in peace, Mom. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2013 at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Passmore Rd. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
