With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Ines Lopez, who departed this life at the age of 62.

Maria was more than a beloved sister and aunt; she was a beautiful part of our family whose love and presence touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind her loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and many cherished family members who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

To her nieces and nephews, Maria was a special part of their childhood, someone whose presence helped create memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. The love, laughter, and moments shared with her are gifts that time can never take away. She was deeply loved, and her absence will leave an emptiness that words cannot fully express.

Although we wish we could have had more time with her, we are forever grateful for the years, memories, and love we were blessed to share. Her passing reminds us how precious life is and how the people we love never truly leave us, because they continue to live in our hearts and in the memories we hold dear.

As we say our final goodbyes, we find comfort in knowing that Maria is now resting peacefully in God’s loving arms, free from pain and surrounded by eternal peace.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Friday October 23, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home - East.

Scripture Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 24, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home - East.
