MARIA DEL CARMEN LOPEZ passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the age of 69. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents Cecilia and Manuel Luna, brother, Manuel Luna, and sister, Luz Luna. She is survived by her husband Refugio Lopez, children: Manuel Antonio Lopez, Sonia Castro, Jose Alberto Lopez and his wife Marisela, her siblings: Francisco Luna, Juan Luna, Sergio Luna, Chayo Valles, her grandchildren: Gabriel Lopez, Aracely Lopez and Alex Amanda Castro. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:30AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5750 Doniphan. Interment will follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery in Sunland Park, NM.
