Maria "Angie" Medina

July 17, 1974 — October 19, 2021

Maria “Angie” Medina, 47, passed into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 12:25 am in her hometown El Paso TX, after a sudden and unfortunate battle with CoVid that led to heart failure. She was born on July 17, 1974, and raised by her parents Bonifacio and Elia Madrid. Angie married Juan Medina, the love of her life, on October 22, 1994. She was completely dedicated to her husband and three children, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She kept an immaculate house and loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. She also enjoyed baking cookies and cupcakes, which would lead to decorating contests amongst her children - best of all, she would engage her family to vote via text, sharing her family’s love and laughter. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Angie. She loved spending time with her family and fur babies, enjoyed having phone conversations with all her sisters, long talks that would always bring laughter. She had a passionate love affair with Sonic ice, homemade red enchiladas, anything pink and her Tahoe. Angie was loyal, unselfish and an extraordinary wife, mother, sister and friend. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in their children’s strong values and God’s love that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Maria “Angie” Medina is survived by her husband of 27 years: Juan; her mother; Elia Madrid, sons: Matthew Medina, Joshua Medina, daughter: Alexa Medina; and sisters: Lupe Rivera, Consuelo Quillin, Glo Madrid, Bonny Zuniga, Elia Valladares and Cathy Madrid. She was proceeded in death by her father: Bonifacio Madrid and brother: Bonisac “Isac” Madrid.
