Maria M. Mendoza

Maria M. Mendoza, 63, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso. She retired from the El Paso Police Department after serving as payroll clerk for many years Mrs. Mendoza was preceded in death by her mother; Socorro Jimenez, husband; Gene Mendoza and sister; Martha Jimenez. She is survived by her brothers; Lorenzo Jimenez Jr., Luis Martin Jimenez, Javier Jimenez, sisters; Sylvia Jimenez, Lucy Nevarez, Sally Luna, and her beloved dog, Sandy. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm with a Vigil at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 9 am Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
