Maria De Los Angeles Murphy

God called Maria de Lourdes del Real Murphy, 46, to be by his side to look over all of us on December 4th, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother and a dear friend. This should not be a moment of sadness, but rather of joy as she is no longer suffering, and is in heaven resting peacefully, at the side of our savior. She has become a guardian angel for all of us and marks the trail ahead with her love for everyone. That old saying you should never outrun your guardian angel does not apply to her as she could outrun everybody. She will help protect us from harm, and will make sure to meet is at the end, guiding us to the afterlife. She put up a brave battle and fought with every ounce of strength she had. She never quit. She never surrendered. Even in her final moments, she was not selfish, she worried about her son, and asked that he be taken care of. She accepted her fate, and passed knowing that she was loved by everyone. Anyone who ever met her saw a bright soul and the sweetest person they would ever meet. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Mija. She is survived by her 9 year old son Connor, and loving husband, Shawn. She was also survived by her mother and 12 siblings, and several nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her brother and father. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM on Thursday December 10, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Rosary will follow at 7 PM Thursday December 10, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be at 12 PM Friday, December 11, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
