Maria D. Ortega

Maria D. Ortega (AKA) Angie Baby, 90, passed away on Thursday, June 09, 2022. She was born in Juarez, Mexico in 1931. Preceded in death by her husband Sergio, sons Sergio Jr. (Alyce), Javier (Pat) and her parents Beatrice and Federico Delgado, she is survived by her two daughters Carmen F. Mendoza (Ernesto), Mague Borjas (Guadalupe) and her son Pablo Ortega (Diana). She also has 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Grandma Angie was a housewife in the true meaning, caring for her loved ones day and night. Grandma Angie is already being sorely missed but we know she is resting in peace with our Lord at her side.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, CAN and staff at Regent Rehab Center, 10880 Edgemere and the services of Kindred Hospice.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Service will be at 9:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East. Interment will follow at 10:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza.
