Maria Elisa Rivas, 85, entered into eternal rest on November 07, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Santana Rivas, parents; Adrian Magallanes and Florentina Castanon. Sister; Santiaga Borjon. Maria Elisa is survived by her loving sons; Jose Rodrigo Rivas, Javier Rivas and Cecilio Rivas. Daughters; Maria Teresa Rivas, Maria Valencia and Leticia Carrillo. Also leaving behind six grandchildren and one great grandchild to cherish her memory. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A mass will begin at 11:30 AM on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 673 Old Hueco Tanks Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. Graveside will follow at 1:00 PM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79938.
