Marialuisa "Marisa" Welborn

MARIALUISA (MARISA) WELBORN Marisa Welborn, 86, passed away in El Paso on April 3, 2015. Born in Milano, Italy, in 1928, Marisa lived a life of some adventure for the time/era. Marisa lived through WWII as a child/teen in Italy, hiked and climbed mountains in the Alps, including the Matterhorn, and worked in France and England before moving to the USA with her newlywed husband, Eddie. Marisa loved children, her family and friends, birding, nature, and the outdoors. She had a large heart for those in need. "If a person asks for food, you give it to him no matter what." Survivors include sons Eric and Bryan, their spouses Roxanne and Alicia, grandsons Kevin Dale and Caleb, extended family in Italy, and several dear friends of long standing. A brief gathering of friends will be held at Sunset Funeral Home West, 448 Resler on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
