Mark Jeffery Williams, 67, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, in El Paso, Texas, surrounded by his wife, Liz, the love of his life, their son, Michael, and daughter-in-law Elisa Adriana.
Mark was born on August 9, 1958, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Reginald Williams and Doris Sanford Williams, both of whom preceded him in death.
On June 29, 1980, Mark married Elizabeth "Liz" P. Williams (Klein). They first met in Florida at his brother's wedding and were inseparable from that day on. Together, they built nearly 46 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family.
After marrying, Mark and Liz moved from Louisiana to New York, where they raised their son, Michael, and built a life together. Mark worked as an accountant and took pride in providing for his family. In 2020, Mark and Liz moved to El Paso, Texas, to be closer to their son and grandchildren, a move that brought them great joy.
Being "Grandpa Mark" was one of Mark's greatest joys. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, Giuliana, Annabella, Michael, and Maxwell, and treasured every opportunity to watch them grow.
Mark enjoyed the simple things in life. He and Liz loved riding bikes together. He looked forward to his daily walks with the dogs and never missed his weekly trip to Sam's Club. He enjoyed woodworking, fixing things around the house, and working with his hands. More than anything, Mark loved his family. He was a devoted husband to Liz, a proud father to Michael, and a loving Grandpa Mark. The life he built with his family was his greatest accomplishment.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth P. "Liz" Williams (Klein); his son, Michael J. Williams (Elisa Adriana); his grandchildren, Giuliana K. Williams, Annabella L. Williams, Michael A. Williams, and Maxwell E. Williams; and his siblings, Sandra Thompson, Lorain Cooke, Chris Williams, and Steven Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald Williams and Doris Sanford Williams.
Mark will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
