Martin Lee Looney

Martin Lee Looney, 50, passed away on Wednesday, October 14th, 2015. Martin was born in Fort Benning, GA, August 6th, 1965. He graduated from Kendrick High School in 1983. Afterwards, he left to serve the United States Marine Corps, courageously for 24+ years. Martin married his soul mate, Marilou, in 1994. After retirement, Martin continued to work, as a Senior Military Analyst at Science Applications International Corporation. He loved to go camping, and was a diehard fan for his hometown team, The Georgia Bulldogs. He was survived by his wife, Marilou Looney; his daughters, Tiffany and Jasmine Looney; his sons, Mathew and Nicholas Looney; his parents, Charles and Brigitte Looney; his brothers, Jay and Mike Looney; and his sister, Susan Shelton. He was family orientated, and will always be remembered as the loving, caring, honorable, and respectful man that he was. May his soul rest in eternal peace. A committal service will be at 2 pm Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
