It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful departure of Mary Margaret Devlin, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on January 24, 2024, at the age of 99.

Born on December 19, 1924, in El Paso, Mary Margaret lived a life filled with love, compassion, and joy. A devoted and nurturing mother, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth for her four children: Colleen (husband Matt Kennesaw Ga), Kim (wife Susan Allen Tx), Dennis (wife Cindy. San Diego, Ca), and Patrick (El Paso) and was a beloved grandmother to five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years Michael Joseph Devlin Jr.

A dedicated educator, Mary Margaret demonstrated a commitment to education which left an indelible mark, impacting lives and creating a legacy that will endure for generations.

Beyond her role as an educator, Mary Margaret actively contributed to St. Raphael Parish, where her faith and dedication to community service shone brightly. Mary Margaret was also a committed Officer in "Discover El Paso" and the "Christ Child Society."

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, February 8, 2024 at St. Raphael Parish, 2301 Zanzibar. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson.
