Melissa Dominguez

Melissa Dominguez, 62, a proud life-long resident of El Paso, Texas passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Melissa is survived by her loving parents, Juan and Margarita Dominguez; sisters Denise Dominguez Macias (Gerardo Perez) and Jennifer Dominguez (Joe Legarreta); nephews Johnny and Joey; nieces Mia, June, Kim, Loren, Adita, Taly and Mily; her loyal, loving cat, Catzilla; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, Godchildren, brother and sisters in Christ, and life-long friends.

Melissa was a proud Ranger from Riverside High School’s Class of 1981 where she was a Pom pom girl and was a Gold Digger at UTEP where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Melissa retired after 20 years of service from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was an Intelligence Analyst and was known for her hard working ethic and integrity.

Melissa was a devout Catholic, enjoyed singing in the Church choir, taught confirmation and was a faithful Bible Study member.

Melissa was a strong, intelligent, independent selfless woman and was a Breast Cancer Survivor. She loved mountain views, art, music, and El Paso sunsets. She also loved to dance, sing, travel and especially drive.

Melissa is a beautiful and vibrant soul who was always smiling, had a witty sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. Her family and friends were what she loved and cherished most.

Melissa’s smile, laugh, energy, hugs, love and free spirit will always be missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 12:15 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
