Mercedes T. Maynes, 81, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. She loved going to church and having her children and grandchildren over on Sunday afternoon. She was passionate about helping the needy. She is survived by her sons; Jesus, Jacob, Ruben, Martin, and Ernesto, daughters; Graciela, Mercedes, Herlinda, Patricia, Edna, Maria, Petra, Dolores, Rosa, and Jessica, sisters; Petra Loera Torres, Maria de Jesus Torres, and Maria Elena Torres and 63 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Son, Herman† and Daughter Elisa†. Visitation will be from 9:00AM-11:00AM with Rosary to begin at 11:00AM, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A Funeral Service will be said at 12:00PM, Monday June 6, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service to follow at 1:30PM Monday, June 6, 2016 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
