Mercedes Orejuela De Gomez

Mercedes Orejuela de Gomez, 101 years old, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 31, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Dagua, Valle, Colombia, South America on September 24, 1914. Mercedes was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, husband, a son, and a daughter. She leaves behind a daughter Auda Ortiz, four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Roger), Anthony, Raul (Nancy), Sandra and Great Grandsons: Dalton and Alejandro. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be held for Mercedes at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Saint Michael Catholic Church #2 on Fort Bliss. Cremation will follow.
