Mike A. Smith

Michael A. Smith "Mike," beloved son, brother, and friend to many- passed away on October 29th, 2022 unexpectedly, at the young age of 28, in El Paso, Texas. 

Michael was born to Lucy and Ron Smith in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and lived there during his childhood, as well as in Las Cruces, New Mexico before the family finally settled down in El Paso, Texas, where they have been for over twenty years. Michael was survived by his parents, Lucy and Ron Smith, his sisters, Alysha Neufeld, and Adriana Smith, and his loving girlfriend, Desiree Nicole. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Abel and Carmen Martinez. 

Michael graduated from Premier High School in 2014, and pursued his favorite hobbies such as model planes and cars, building and restoring cars, and cooking as one of his passions- he loved to cook for family and friends and made the best Pozole for the holidays. Michael had a huge heart even when times were rough for him- he always put others first, especially family and close friends. 

We miss you dearly and we love you very much- forever in our hearts. May your soul rest in peace, until we meet again. ♥

Celebration of life will be held on November 7th, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Homes at 480 N. Resler, El Paso, TX. 79912. Public Visitation is from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with a Rosary following at 7:00 pm.
