Myrna T. Russell

Myrna T. Russell, 81 passed away June 25, 2015. She is survived by Daughter Stephanie and husband John Day, Brother Gary and wife Barbara Tennis, and Sister Sondra and husband Scott Jordan. Grandsons: Jon and wife Melinda Day, Jacob and wife Stephanie Day, Niece Alison, Great Grandchildren: Mackenzie, Morgan, and Madeleine. Myrna was a teacher for over 44years in different states to include San Mateo School District in California, Denver Colorado School District, Ysleta School District and El Paso Independent School District. 20 of those years helping students in the Behavior Improvement Class program to be a success in life. Myrna worked in the Stranger Danger Program in the elementary schools after retirement from teaching with Mary Sanders. Teaching was her passion. Myrna was a member of SCCA club since the 1960’s. In lieu of flowers, Myrna wished you could graciously donate to the Humane Society and CIMA Hospice. A Memorial Service will held from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
