Natline T. Adams

Natline Adams was born February 29th, 1940. She was a wonderful, proud and unique person and we all loved her so much. She was born in Robertson County, Texas. The daughter of Viola and Jodie Potts, but she was raised by Viola and her husband Rufus Rogers in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married our father, Leroy Adams, at the tender age of eighteen on April 14th 1958. She was a house wife to a soldier in the army then she became a mother to five children: DiLinda, Leroy Jr., Nina, Sheila, and Cyindi. Soon she became an example to her children by working hard, first as a nursing assistant which progressed to nurse technician and then to college where she obtained a bachelor degree in business administration. She then became a Credit Counselor at the YWCA where she was able to help numerous people turn their lives around. After working a little over twenty years she retired from the YWCA. She always made it a point to treat people kindly and with respect. She is going to be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. We love you Natline/Mommy, Good-bye. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will be at 12 PM Friday, June 24, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service to follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
