Octavio Solis

Octavio Solis, age 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 28, 2026 in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and will be dearly missed. Octavio is preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Rosa Solis as well as his son: Ernesto Solis. He is survived by his wife: Socorro H. Solis, his children: Octavio Solis Jr. (Jeanne), Rosina Macias (Jaime), Eduardo Solis (Raquel), and Javier Solis (Bernardete), his seven Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00pm. A Scripture Service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Homes- West, with a Graveside Service to follow at 1:30pm at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
