Ofelia Placencia

Ofelia Placencia, 88, entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eduardo Placencia; brothers, Arnulfo Alvarado, Ramiro Alvarado; sisters, Margarita Bell, Elvira Jacquez, Bertha Terrell, Celia Ahumada and Hortencia Sierra. Ofelia is survived by her loving son and daughter, Eduardo Placencia Jr.(Norma Placencia), and Rosemary Huerta, and brother Alfredo Alvarado. Also leaving behind her two granddaughters, Illiana Placencia and Gabrielle Huerta who will cherish her memory forever. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A mass will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at St. Jospeph's Catholic Church, 3729 Huevo Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903.
