Ora Beatriss Hutchinson

Ora Beatriss Hutchinson went to be with our Lord on May 5, 2022. She was born on August 21, 1935, in Grethel, Kentucky. Ora met her future husband Marion (Hutch) in 1942, and they married in 1952.  Marion and Ora traveled throughout the United States, Europe and Asia while Marion served in the United States Army.  Ora worked for the Fort Bliss Main Exchange for 19 years.  She also volunteered with the American Red Cross for 20+ years at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC).  Ora was a member of Transmountain Optimist. She enjoyed being with her friends in the Red Hat Society.  Hutch and Ora invited military soldiers into their home for Thanksgiving dinner along with Hutch’s friend Joe. Preceding her in death were her husband Marion A. Hutchinson, her parents Irvin and Grace Baldridge, brothers Sam, Ernest and James, sisters Hazel Marie, Georgie, Myrtle and Donna Sue, and her grand-daughter Tiffany.  She is survived by her brother Bobby and sister Patricia, sons Marion A. Jr. (Dolores) and Richard D., daughters Lynn Hutchinson-Young, Melody Moon (Michael), her grandchildren Norma, Cheryl, Brandon, Matthew, Michelle, Devin, Christopher, Richard Jr., Jessie, and Great and Great Great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm -8:00pm with a Funeral Service at 6:00pm on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Committal Service will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery (West Shelter)  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Red Cross at WBAMC.
