Oscar Manuel Muñoz

OSCAR MANUEL MUNOZ SR. passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 82. He retired from SWIG after 43 years of service. He was predeceased by his wife Maria del Socorro Munoz, his son Alvaro Munoz and his grandson John Paul Bridges. He is survived by his children; Max D. Munoz, Rose Morales and husband Alex, Elsa Gomez, Nancy Bridges and husband Edgar, Yvonne Gomez and husband Louie, Oscar Manuel Munoz Jr., David Cameron and wife Christy, Luciano Cameron, his sisters Francisca Herrera, Margarita Arguijo, Celia Hernandez, Veronica Rodriguez Hernandez, 23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:30AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 400 W. Sunset Rd. Pallbearers will be: Alvaro Munoz, Danny Munoz, Alex Morales IV, Anthony Morales, J.J. Gomez, Ritchie Gomez, Tres Gomez, Luciano Cameron and Honorary Pallbearer Oscar Manuel Munoz III. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
