We are heartbroken to announce that Oscar passed away on November 1, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on Christmas Eve in 1968, Oscar was taken from his loved ones far too soon. He is survived by his wife Judy Ulate, sons Jon Paul and Joshua (Brittany) Ulate, mother Hilda Ulate, his siblings Adella (Charlie) Baeza, Lou Baeza, Balty Baeza, stepsons Jamin, Jason and Jeremy Bascom, several grandchildren including Jai' Lynn, Viviana, Aubree and Joshua Ulate, Aspen and Bronson Bascom, Michael Stallings, Evelyn Ulate, great grandaughter Ivy June, numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins .A celebration of Oscar's life will be held November 28th from noon to 4pm November 28th, 2026 at the Ruidoso Convention Center.
