Pascual Martinez

Our devoted and loving father, Pascual Martinez, 79, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family. He is survived by wife, Raquel G. Martinez and 3 children, Pascual Adrian, Margarita Morales, and Susana Mitchell, 8 grandchildren and a great grandchild, as well as many loving members of his family. He worked hard to provide for his family his whole life and was a master craftsman in masonry work. He left his mark throughout El Paso from the Westside to Horizon as he was an expert in building rock walls, cement foundations, arches, fountains, and many more beautiful masonry landmarks. His work was his life and proudly continued to work even at the age of 79. He was a fan of the LA Dodgers and affectionately known as “Pasky” by family, friends, and neighbors. At the end of the day he loved to sit outside on the front porch and listen to oldies music. Que descanse en paz. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:30, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30am, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Committal Service to follow at 1:00pm at Evergreen East Cemetery.
