She was born in December 1958 to Francis and Lillie Holland and grew up in Addison, Illinois, alongside her siblings: James (Mary Anne Lydon), Kim DiGiorgio (Ray) Mueller, Bridget, and Sharon Eckler. In 2017, the family joyfully reunited with their sister, Donna (Ron) Peterson.
Trisha graduated from Addison Trail High School, where she met her first husband. She later relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she was blessed with and lovingly raised her two sons, Jason O’Brien (Danielle Pixley) and Francis O’Brien.
A lifelong learner with a passion for helping others, Trisha earned her degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico and became a registered nurse. She received multiple accreditations throughout her career and found special joy in mentoring and teaching students pursuing careers in the medical field.
Trisha dedicated many years of service to Sierra Vista Hospital in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, where she cared deeply for her patients and colleagues alike.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Anthony, Christopher, Jayden, Devyn, Bradley, Dahlia, and Killian who brought joy to her heart every day.
Trisha shared her life with her partner of many years, Vincente Naranjo, whose love and companionship meant the world to her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Lillie, and her sister Bridget.
She will be remembered for her generosity, sharp wit, and deep devotion to her family and her work. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she shared.
Trisha wanted her family and friends to remember her as a loving and caring person. She wished to be remembered as a good nurse, who gave 100% of her heart to ALL. She did not say “I Love You” lightly. She truly LOVED!
