Patricia A. Tomljanovich

Pat Tomljanovich was born Patricia Murphy in Gallup, NM on October 13,1931. She had eight siblings and graduated with honors from Cathedral High School. She went on to graduate with a BA in Business & Finance from Marymount College in 1953 as Magna Cum Laude. Her life led her to Humboldt KS and Socorro NM as a teacher before meeting and marrying the man of her dreams: Charles Nicholas Tomljanovich (deceased). Pat is survived by her children: Marie Meche and Sam Meche (spouse), Donna Brown and Daryl Brown(deceased),Charles Richard Tomljanovich (deceased) and Shelly Tomljanovich, Carole Neel and Jeff Neel and Thomas Tomljanovich. Grandchildren include Levi Plumley, Eli Plumley (deceased), Jeffrey Neel, Caitlin Neel, Amy Kromer, and Sarah Smales. Her great grandchildren are Eli Plumley Jr, Steven Sullivan, Aidan Fraughton, Tristan Kroger, Trenton Smales, Tanner Blount, Chloe Kroger, Tayleigh Whittemore, Evan Plumley, and Derek Plumley. She has one great great grandson Eliezer Plumley. Pat has two surviving siblings Barbara Dawes, Frances Coody, and six deceased siblings Peggy Murphy, Dorothy Spezze, Mary Kaye Blickenderfer, Deanie Murphy, Bill Murphy, and Larry Murphy. Patricia's lifetime interest was teaching young men and women, especially in religious Catholic Education. She enjoyed many years as Director of CCD at Most Holy Trinity Church where she touched the lives of young people. Her motto, “To live in the hearts of others is to never die.” This phenomenal woman will be missed.  

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Dr. Committal Service to follow at 1:30pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
