Paul Harper Northrop

Paul Harper Northrop, age 79, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Paul was born on October 18, 1942, in Willows, CA, where he spent his childhood playing with his many friends in that small town. After graduating from high school, Paul joined the Marines and served briefly in Vietnam. He then played minor league baseball for several years, all over the United States. He worked in many different professions over the years, but never lost his love of baseball, and even spent a day in the dugout with his favorite Dodgers. In 1983 he married the love of his life, Jayme, and they spent 38 years together. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Northrop, his father, Lyman Northrop, and his two stepsons, Brent and Shad Moore. He is survived by his wife, Jayme, his sons Christopher and John, his daughter Paula Holliday (Jeremy), his granddaughter Makaila Holliday, his brother Dennis (Virginia), and his sister Lynne McMurray. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 9 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Life Gate Church, 10555 Edgemere Blvd.
