Pedro "Boss" Felix Jr.

Pedro “Boss” Felix Jr. passed away Monday July 4, 2022, at the age of 81. He was affectionately called “Boss” by the family. He was born January 3, 1941, in El Paso, Texas. He attended Jefferson High School and joined the Air Force. He was employed at ASARCO and owned Elegance Remodeling. Boss and his leadership were instrumental in growing VIVA Environmental’s Construction Department.

Boss is preceded in death by his parents Pedro Felix Sr., Manuela Sanchez Felix, sisters and brothers Theresa Woodard, Joe Felix, Annie Gutierrez, Alicia Garcia, Malena Banales, Rose Cortez, and Henry Felix. Boss is survived by sister Lupe Felix and by his children and their spouses, Peter Felix III, Marina Felix, Mitch Felix, Lilian Felix, Elizabeth Morales, Zeke Morales, Chris Felix, and their mother Mina Felix. Grand children Peter Sebastian Felix, Danika Felix, Devin Felix, Emily Felix, Nicolas Morales, Seth Morales, and Isabella Morales.  Boss loved and is survived by countless cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Boss lived life on his terms. Boss adored his mom and enjoyed having a Cafecito with her daily.  Boss brought up his children in the Catholic faith. Boss loved attending Mass and belonged to the Santa Lucia Catholic Church community. Boss donated his talents and built countless alters for several catholic churches. Boss was friends to several parishioners and priests who enjoyed his company. Boss loved Mariachis.

Boss will always be remembered by his crazy humor, work ethic, Catholic faith, how fun he was to be around, and for enjoying life.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes – East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, 12200 Vista Del Sol. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
