Petra Ruiz, 72, passed away January 13, 2020 in El Paso, Texas. She is survived by her loving husband Basilio S. Ruiz, daughters Sandra Ruiz, Elizabeth Ruiz, Rosy Ruiz, Cristina Rivera, grandsons Jacob Carrasco, Matthew Carrasco, brothers Heriberto Trujillo, Ignacio Trujillo and sister Francisca Trejo. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a vigil/rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
