Pilar Almanza Gallardo, 83, was received by our Lord on August 28, 2015. She was born in Esperanza, Texas. She is survived by her children: Esther (Antonio), Grace (Ronnie), Dolores, Ruedi, Patricia (Dwayne) and Charlie (JoAnn); 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her brother, Maximo Almanza and her sister, Longina Hernandez. She is reunited with her parents, Canuto and Faustina Almanza; grandson, Eric Campbell; son-in-law, Arthur “Buzz” Luhm; and brothers and sisters. She loved her Marines, she loved her Cowboys and she loved us all. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 1st ,2015 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East. Please visit our online registry at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
