RALPH LEROY COULTER passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the age of 86. Ralph served his country as a Marine and a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served the community of El Paso as an El Paso Policeman for 17 years, graduated from the FBI Academy then moved on to become the Chief of Police at the University of Texas at El Paso. He loved, reading, country music, cowboy boots, justice, the serenity of Cimarron, his family, his friends, the cowboy way and laughing until he cried. He was predeceased by his son Ralph Coulter Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Sue Ann Coulter, son Mike Coulter and his wife Jody and daughter Claudia Lu Coulter. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren; Christopher, Travis, Austin and Sydney Coulter, Juan Biel, Keenan Coulter, Kyle Rowland and Beverly Liberato. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:30 AM, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
