Ramon Garcia Jr.

April 1, 1993 — October 1, 2026

El Paso

Ramon Garcia Jr., 33, was tragically taken away far too soon against his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was not just a proud man but also a devoted husband to Ricardo Olague and a loving family man, including his Aunt Mary Sias and Grandmother Virginia Gonzalez. Words can’t describe Ramon; he was loved and made sure to give back that love 10 fold. He made sure the room was filled with laughter because that was his favorite sound. Whatever he found interesting at the moment, he’d go into full detail and break it down, and made sure your opinions were taken into consideration when working on his future endeavors. He was comfort, he was patience, he was love.

Ramon met Ricardo on Oct-29-2019; it was online through a mutual friend. Unbeknownst to both of them, that day would start the sparks that would eventually become the flames of love and companionship. Through many dates, texts, and late-night calls, they would find themselves on the couch, comfortable in each other's arms, adorned with the label of boyfriends. With the future in clear sight, there were those who didn’t agree with their union, and they decided to cement their love on August 21st, 2025, with a celebration pending on a later date. They were ready, but fate had other plans. On October 1, 2026, Ramon Garcia Jr. would lose his battle to pancreatic cancer and enter eternal rest.

11 years of memories and a hopeful future quickly diminished before everyone’s eyes. Ramon, you will be forever missed, and it’s truly unjust that this is how your story had to end. We love you, Mi Amore; there will never truly be a person like you. You were definitely the most brilliant and shining diamond that could ever have been found in the rough.
