Randy Joe Tettleton entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the age of 78. Randy was a loving brother, father, and grandfather whose presence brought warmth and strength to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
Randy proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran, holding the rank of Gunners Mate Second Class. He was stationed aboard the destroyer DD-788 USS Hollister, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and courage. Following his military service, he built a long and fulfilling career with Metro in Houston, Texas, working as both a bus driver and a Train Operator until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Tab Tettleton and Mark Tettleton.
Randy is survived by his loving children, Travis Tettleton and Terre Seay; his beloved grandchildren, Teagan Seay, Thomas Seay, Teala Seay, Skyler Tettleton, Tyler Tettleton, and Samantha Tettleton; and his cherished siblings, Troy Dalmasso, Tracy Schmeltzer, and Barry Dalmasso.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home–West.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home–West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
