Raul Jurado

Raul Jurado, 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Raul was born in Parral, Chihuahua on February 13,1934. 

He worked in construction for many years until his retirement in 1993. He married Irma Jurado, his wife of 55 years. Raul loved to dance. He and Irma would enter dancing competitions as a hobby.

Raul was very creative and hands-on and enjoyed building in his workshop. Raul was an advocate for education and even in his later years, he attended community college and taught himself English so he could communicate better with his grandchildren. 

Raul is survived by his wife Irma his two daughters, Mayra (Frank) And Myrna, his grandkids Gabriel, Christopher, Thomas Victor-Raul, Angel and his great grandchildren Robert, Scarlet, and Angel.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 WIliamette. Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana.
