Rey Leonardo Mendez

Rey Leonardo Mendez, 25, entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2024 in El Paso, TX. Rey is survived by his beloved fiancée, Francheska Avila. Daughters, Rachel Mendez and Sarilu Avila. His parents, Carlos Lorenzo Mendez and Maria De Lourdes Loera. Siblings, Carlos Lorenzo Mendez, Daniel Mendez, Crystal Mendez and Ivette Mendez. Rey was very loved and will be dearly missed. 

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX. A Mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 328 S Nevarez Rd, Socorro, TX 79927. A Graveside will follow at 1:15 PM at La Purisima (Socorro) Cemetery, 328 S Nevarez Rd, Socorro, TX 79927. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
