Richard Leroy Pickard

LTC, Richard Leroy Pickard, 85 passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. Richard was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on July 19, 1930. From a very young age Richard was the man of the house. He was always a loving brother and friend. At the young age of 21, he enlisted in the United States Army. He would later meet and marry the love of his life; his wife, Ingeborg Antonie Pickard. He was a member of The Commemorative Air Force Service and volunteered at the Civil Air Patrol. Richard loved the Opera and enjoyed the Symphony. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ingeborg Antione Pickard and Brother Jim Picker. A Committal Service will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Northeast in El Paso, Texas.
